Chair, Focus Features
Since 2016, Peter Kujawski has chaired Focus Features, the specialty film division of NBCUniversal. Kujawski has been with the company since the division’s founding in 2002, rising through the ranks in international acquisitions and production. Under his leadership as chair, the division has produced a slate of award-nominated films, including “Promising Young Woman,” “Belfast,” “Conclave,” and “The Holdovers.” The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences elected Kujawski to its board of governors for the executive branch in June 2025, marking his first term.
