President, Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers
Greg Hessinger was named president of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Production in March 2025. He succeeded Carol Lombardini, who had been the Sherman Oaks-based trade group’s chief since 2009. Hessinger brought more than 30 years of entertainment labor experience, including stints as director of labor relations at CBS, national executive director of the Screen Actors Guild-AFTRA, and a roughly nine-year tenure as chair and managing partner of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp’s New York office. Since taking on his new role, Hessinger has secured new agreements with both the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA this year, positioning Hollywood for a strike-free 2026 contract cycle.
