Valley 200 2025: Geovanny Ragsdale

Chief Executive, Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley

Ragsdale is the chief executive of Canoga Park-based nonprofit the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley, a role she took on in 2021. The organization was founded in 1992. Under her leadership, the organization paid off its Teen Center building and is growing an endowment for the organization. She has also increased the group’s work with LAUSD and has also focused on retention of the kids the group serves. Last year, the organization was recognized by Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, D-Encino, as the 2024 California Nonprofit of the Year for Assembly District 46. Prior to joining the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley, Ragsdale was president of philanthropy at Adventist Health Simi Valley, an associate at World Financial Group and associate vice president of philanthropy at Southern Adventist University. She also started what today is the KPMG France Foundation.
