Founder, President, Children’s Hunger Fund
Phillips is the founder and president of Children’s Hunger Fund, a Sylmar-based nonprofit that helps children and families, which he started in 1991. Since then, 96% of its revenue has supported programs that serve children and families. One of its main products are Food Paks – shoebox-sized packages filled with non-perishable items distributed to people CHF helps. CHF has been in expansion mode and this spring held a groundbreaking ceremony in the Town of Prosper, Texas, for its future facility, which is expected to cost $35 million to build. Prior to founding CHF, Phillips worked with World Impact Inc. and World Opportunities International.
