Chief Executive, Latigo Biotherapeutics
Farzan has served as chief executive of Latigo Biotherapeutics Inc. since July 2024. He brings more than two decades of industry leadership experience to the role. Prior to joining Latigo Biotherapeutics, he was the chief executive of Kinnate Biopharma, where he led Kinnate through its successful IPO and sale. He also served as president and chief executive of PaxVax Inc. Earlier in his career, he held significant roles at Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics, Novartis AG, doubleTwist Corp. and the Boston Consulting Group. He is on the board of Keros Therapeutics and was a founding board member of the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s in human biology from Stanford University.
