Since September 2023, Gaskill-Hames has served as president of Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California and Hawaii markets, directing the health plan and hospital operations, which serve nearly 5 million members through its 16 hospitals and 220 medical offices. She first joined Kaiser Permanente in 2016 as senior vice president/area manager for the Redwood City area. She later served as senior vice president/area manager for greater southern Alameda and as Northern California senior vice president of hospital and health plan operations in Oakland. In February 2022, Gaskill-Hames was named chief operating officer and chief strategy, growth and experience officer for Southern California and Hawaii.
