Executive Chair, Teledyne Technologies Inc.
Mehrabian is the executive chair of Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies Inc., an industrial conglomerate. He assumed his current role last year. He had served as chair, president and chief executive of the company since 2000, except for a brief period from 2019 to 2021, when he assumed the position of executive chair. The materials scientist previously held various senior executive positions at Allegheny Teledyne Inc. before the spin-off of Teledyne Technologies in November 1999. He has also served on the boards of Mellon Financial Corp. and its successor, Bank of New York Mellon Corp., and PPG Industries Inc. In addition to his role as an executive, he holds eight U.S. patents and more than 40 internationally.
