Chief Executive, Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce
Nancy Hoffman Vanyek embodies the spirit of the San Fernando Valley’s business community, dedicating nearly four decades to the chamber industry. As the Greater San Fernando Valley Chamber of Commerce’s first woman chief executive, a post she has held since 1993, Vanyek has transformed the organization into a leading voice for business. Under her leadership, she has championed a strong business climate and key regional partnerships. The chamber represents member businesses employing over 50,000 people. Her focus on workforce and economic development extends to her service on the City of Los Angeles Workforce Development Board, the LA28 Local Hire Task Force and the board of the Western Association of Chamber Executives. A true “Valley Girl,” she earned the unusual honor of having a craft beer named after her.
