Dave Santrella, chief executive of Salem Media since 2022, leads a multi-platform media company with operations in 30 markets, 1,400 employees and 3,500 affiliates. Since assuming the role after 12 years as president of broadcast media, Santrella has driven significant digital growth, overseeing the launches of Salem Surround, Salem Podcast Network, SalemNOW and the Salem News Channel. With nearly four decades of experience, Santrella held prior management roles at NBC’s WMAQ and CBS’s WBBM in Chicago before joining Salem in 2001. He has also served in organizations like the National Association of Broadcasters.
