Park President, Six Flags Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor
Brian Oerding was named park president of Six Flags Magic Mountain in April 2026 as part of a broader corporate move to reinstate park-level leadership across Six Flags’ 10 largest properties. Oerding brings nearly 25 years of amusement industry experience to one of Southern California’s most iconic entertainment destinations. He spent roughly 18 years at Carowinds, rising from manager of operations to vice president and park manager, overseeing the openings of more than 20 rides and park attractions. His recent appointment came as new Six Flags Chief Executive John Reilly repositioned the company around park-specific accountability and operational excellence.
