Chief Executive, President, Arcutis Biotherapeutics
Frank Watanabe has helmed Westlake Village-based Arcutis Biotherapeutics as its president since 2016 and its chief executive since 2017. He has had an extensive career in pharmaceuticals, including the co-founding of Kanan Therapeutics and serving as an executive as Thousand Oaks-based pharmaceutical giant Amgen Inc. Watanabe has previously testified at the U.S. House of Representatives’ Ways and Means Committee on improving access to healthcare and medical innovation in the United States.
