President, College of the Canyons
Jasmine Ruys was appointed as president and superintendent of College of the Canyons in April, after holding the role in an interim capacity. She has more than 24 years of experience at College of the Canyons and was previously its assistant superintendent and vice president of student services. In her tenure, Ruys has advanced key initiatives including Guided Pathways, AB 705 implementation, the creation of the Intercultural Center, expansion of dual enrollment, and large-scale technology modernization.
