Long-time civic and business executive Matsuda began her consulting practice in 2018. The firm focuses on organizational restructuring, board development, fundraising and marketing for both business and nonprofit clients. In the 1990s, she worked in consumer marketing for Sempra Energy, a utility company, in Los Angeles. From 1999 to 2012, Matsuda served as the publisher of the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Subsequently, she worked in market development and fundraising at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, where she also held the position of president of the hospital’s foundation. She has also served on a number of boards over the years including the Valley Economic & Commerce Association and Valley Economic Alliance.
