Alpert continues to run his mediation and arbitration firm, Alpert Dispute Resolution & Consulting Inc., in Sherman Oaks. An attorney for more than four decades, he was among the original founders of what is now Grant Shenon, a civil litigation, corporate and data privacy law firm in Sherman Oaks. Alpert also takes on work as a lobbyist. Throughout the decades, he has involved himself in a variety of civic- and community-oriented roles, including as a member of Woodbury University’s board of trustees, the Edge Foundation’s board of directors and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
