Chief Executive, Los Robles Health System – Thousand Oaks
Buttell has served as the chief executive of Los Robles Health System, a 386-bed level II trauma center in Thousand Oaks, since April 2024. Buttell has held several leadership roles, including chief executive at HCA Midwest’s Menorah Medical Center in Kansas, and chief operating officer at HCA Healthcare’s Centerpoint Medical Center in Missouri. At Centerpoint, he played an instrumental role in the operations, growth and development of the 285-bed hospital. His other positions include associate administrator at JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio; chief operating officer at Centennial Medical Center in Texas; and vice president of business development at Creighton University Medical Center in Nebraska.
