Pegi Matsuda formed On Board as a Sherman Oaks-based business consultant to help local companies in their organizational and planning stages, as well as their board development, community relations, fundraising and marketing. Throughout the years, she has been involved with the Fernando Award Foundation, the Valley Industry & Commerce Association, the Valley Economic Alliance, Woodbury University, the Los Angeles Valley College Foundation, and the Community Foundation of the Valleys. An avowed San Fernando Valley resident, Matsuda was once the publisher of the then-San Fernando Valley Business Journal. She earned her master’s degree in organizational leadership from Woodbury University and holds a Cerified Fund Raising Executive designatin from CFRE International.
