Samantha Argabrite serves as the City Manager of Simi Valley, where she has dedicated nearly two decades of results-focused public service. As a nearly lifelong resident, Samantha is known for advancing high-impact projects, enhancing service delivery, and upholding fiscal integrity through a thoughtful, efficient approach that strengthens community services while meeting evolving community needs.
In her previous role as Assistant City Manager, Samantha led communications and media relations as the City’s spokesperson, while overseeing legislative affairs, grant programs, and labor negotiations. Her work has secured over $18 million in grant funding, established fiscally responsible union agreements, and introduced cost-effective initiatives benefiting residents. Her leadership also extended to creating the Employee Activities Team, an initiative to boost workplace morale and foster a positive organizational culture.
Samantha remains active in the community through roles such as a board member of the Ventura County Civic Alliance, a member of Soroptimist International Simi Valley, and a past board member of Women United. She holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge, reinforcing her foundation in effective public management and strategic communication.
