President, Adventist Health Glendale & Simi Valley
In August 2024, Issai was named president of a newly created service area that integrated Simi Valley Hospital with Adventist Health’s larger medical center in Glendale. She became the first woman to lead Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital, in 2018. Adventist Health Simi Valley is a 136-bed acute care hospital. In her expanded role, she has concentrated on improving operational efficiency and patient care at both hospitals. Adventist Health Glendale has received five-star ratings from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for five consecutive years and “A” ratings from the Leapfrog Group since 2015. In 2023, it achieved its first Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
