Superior Industries Raises Dividend

Aluminum wheel manufacturer Superior Industries International Inc. announced Monday it would pay out a quarterly dividend of 18 cents a share. The dividend from the Van Nuys company, an increase of 2 cents, or 12 percent, will be paid Jan. 17. The company, which supplies Detroit automakers, has been performing well amid the resurgence in auto sales. “We are pleased to again commence our quarterly dividend payments, while at the same time continuing to invest in the company’s future with the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Mexico,” said Superior Chief Executive Steven Borick in a prepared statement. Shares closed down 6 cents, or a fraction of a percent, to $19.24 on the New York Stock Exchange.
