Former Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. President and CEO Lee Harrington has died in a surfing accident. For the past five years, Harrington led the Southern California Leadership Council. “We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague, friend and mentor, Lee Harrington. We mourn the loss of a great leader, a dedicated public servant and a giving and decent human being,” said Bill Allen, current LAEDC president and CEO. Harrington led the LAEDC for more than ten years.
