Heavy snow and frigid temperatures in the Midwest and East Coast are affecting some flights at Burbank Bob Hope Airport on Monday. JetBlue Airways has cancelled its single flight between Burbank and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The flight arrives at Bob Hope at 8:46 p.m. and departs again at 9:39 p.m., said airport spokesman Victor Gill. “That turnaround is taken out of the schedule,” Gill said. Additionally, four departures and four arrivals are being delayed. The longest delay is of a Southwest Airlines flight to Oakland originally scheduled for 2:55 p. m. now leaving at 4:05 p.m. “Otherwise delays are on the order of a half an hour or less,” Gill said. Gill recommends that travelers stay in contact with their air carrier to receive updated departure and arrival information. There were reports of numerous delays at Los Angeles International Airport due to the frigid weather.
