Charter Firm Opens Office in Hong Kong

Private jet charter firm ANJET has opened an office in Hong Kong to serve the rising demand for private aviation in Asia. Westlake Village-based ANJET will develop a group of private jet concierges to provide personalized service to clients. The Asian market is a boom area for private aviation with industry estimates of a 16 percent increase in business in 2012. As a business gateway in Asia, Hong Kong was the natural place to open an office to extend ANJET’s market reach, said President Anthony Newcombe. “As air space regulations ease up and the business jet concept gains momentum throughout mainland China, the Hong Kong office also eases the introduction to and development of services for this unique and flourishing marketplace,” Newcombe said in a prepared statement.
