Saalex to Hire 50 for Navy Contracts

Saalex Corp. announced that it is hiring more than 50 new employees in engineering and analyst positions. The Camarillo company provides engineering, information technology and test range operation management. It will place the new employees primarily in Ridgecrest to support two contracts for the U.S. Navy under its Saalex Solutions division. Travis Mack, chief executive and founder of Saalex, said the company has experienced tremendous growth the past two years and he expects that to continue into the foreseeable future. “We will continue to add staff to support our work with the Navy and other military branches as their needs expand,” Mack said in a statement. Saalex has more than 600 full-time staff in offices in eight states around the U.S. The company is the third-largest employer in Ridgecrest with 70 percent of its work force made up of military veterans.
