Founder, Boucher
Boucher, founder of his namesake Woodland Hills-based law firm, last year followed up on a prior settlement with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles by helping secure an additional $880 million payout for victims of the clergy’s sexual abuse. He previously helped win a $740 million settlement from the archdiocese in 2007. That’s not his only big win from the past year. In the spring, he and five other attorneys landed a record-shattering $4 billion settlement from Los Angeles County, on behalf of the victims of sexual abuse at county-run juvenile detention facilities.
