Abir is the co-founder and “A” in ACTS Law, an Encino-based plaintiffs’ law firm. He has spearheaded the firm’s growth in recent years to add outposts and lawyers in Playa del Rey, Torrance, San Diego and Pennsylvania. Once quoted as calling ACTS Law as only taking “David vs. Goliath” types of cases, Abir’s aim is to build a one-stop shop plaintiff’s powerhouse. The firm has raked in more than $1 billion in settlements and judgments for personal injury victims alone. The firm also was a key player in securing a $4 billion settlement from Los Angeles County this year on behalf of more than 7,000 plaintiffs, who sued the county for sexual abuse at its juvenile detention facilities.
