President, Chief Executive, Henry Mayo
Klockenga has served as president and chief executive of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia since March 2023, culminating in more than 30 years of hospital and health system leadership experience. Outside of his duties at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, Klockenga was recently appointed to the board of the Hospital Association of Southern California. He serves on the executive committee of the board of directors for the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corp. Before joining Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, Klockenga served as the chief executive and system executive vice president for the Northern California region of Providence St. Joseph Health System. In that role, he oversaw some of its health care ministries.
