Nygren has over 25 years of experience in leadership and management within retail financial institutions, encompassing all aspects of consumer and business banking. In November, EverBank opened its first financial center on the West Coast in Encino. This year, EverBank plans to significantly expand its network of financial centers in the Bay Area, metro Los Angeles and Orange County upon completing the acquisition of Sterling Bank & Trust. Prior to his tenure at EverBank, Nygren served as managing director and regional president for Union Bank’s Greater Los Angeles & Central Coast Division and held several leadership roles at Wells Fargo.
