Stibel became the chief executive of LegalZoom, which still holds significant Glendale operations, in 2024. Prior to his appointment, he was part of the company’s board of directors for around 10 years and served as the chair of the board since 2018. He has been a partner at the investment firm Bryant Stibel & Co. since 2013, a vice chair at the data analytics firm Dun & Bradstreet until the company was taken private, and chair and chief executive of a smaller company that was later acquired by Dun & Bradstreet, where he grew the customer base by nearly 500% to 2 million subscribers. Stibel also served as the president and chief executive of Web.com Inc., growing shareholder value by 200% until its sale.
