Hou became head of Camarillo-based semiconductor and Internet-of-Things products manufacturer Semtech Corp. in June 2024, replacing Paul Pickle in the role. Hou had previously served on the Semtech board. Prior to his current role, Hou was president of the semiconductor group at Brooks Automation, a Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based provider of automated wafer handling and contamination control products for semiconductor manufacturing. Before that, he was corporate vice president and general manager of the cloud and edge networking group of Intel Corp. in Santa Clara. Other roles for Hou include chief technology officer at Fabrinet West Inc. in Santa Clara and chief executive at Emcore Corp. in Alhambra.
