Zaslav is the chief executive and president of Warner Bros. Discovery. Zaslav led the merger between WarnerMedia and Discovery in 2022, combining the media assets of the companies. He is responsible for strategy and operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes HBO, CNN, HGTV and more. Prior to his current role, he was the head of reality TV giant Discovery since 2006 and was a protege of famed media investor John Malone. Zaslav helped grow the organization and pivot to direct-to-consumer operations. Prior to Discovery, Zaslav had a career at NBCUniversal where he helped launch CNBC. Before that, he was an attorney. He serves on the boards of American Cinematheque, Sirius XM Radio, Inc. and Grupo Televisa.
