Since acquiring Clay Lacy Aviation in 2012, Kirkdoffer has led the company’s national expansion, growing the team to 800 members, managing a fleet of aircraft valued at over $3 billion and establishing more than 40 U.S. operating locations. The latter includes multiple full-service fixed-base operations and FAA-certified maintenance and repair facilities. Kirkdoffer joined Clay Lacy Aviation in 1990 as a Learjet pilot and business development executive. He progressed to captain of all Learjet models, as well as Gulfstream, large-cabin business jets. As a captain, his list of elite passengers has included former U.S. presidents, a British prime minister, and noted sports and entertainment figures.
