Valley 200 2023: Matthew Alpert

Dr. Alpert, a third-generation optometrist, practices in Woodland Hills, as well as at Wink Optometry in Calabasas and Westlake Village. He won the Young Optometrist of the Year Award in 2002, and he is the past president of the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society. He was featured on the television program “The Doctors.” On multiple trips to South Africa he helped develop a clinic in which 30,000 children received eye care. Furthermore, he is a consultant for Amazon on its Smart eyewear and a founder and president of The Eye Consortium, an ophthalmic supply chain alliance group.
