Gary Smalley is the first non-Tutor family member to head Sylmar-based construction giant Tutor Perini Corp. He has led the firm to win over $9 billion in contracts in the past three years. Under Smalley’s watch, Tutor Perini delivered record revenue, cash flow, and strong profitability in 2025, and generated $1.8 billion of operating cash.
