Rick Nahmias founded Food Forward in 2009 and currently serves as its chief executive. The nonprofit addresses food insecurity by redistributing surplus produce to those in need. A former award-winning photographer and author of “The Migrant Project,” Nahmias previously focused on documenting marginalized communities. An expert in food justice and social innovation, he is a Ralph M. Parsons Fellow and frequent speaker on the subject.
