Ondré Seltzer arrived at the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corp. as a veteran economic developer and quickly became the steady hand the organization needed. Named permanent president and chief executive in October 2024 after serving as the interim leader since July of that year, Seltzer had previously served as the SCVEDC’s vice president of workforce and economic development. He reported to the Santa Clarita City Council in March 2025 that 1,461 jobs across 21 companies had been brought to the valley in the prior year. Prior to that, Seltzer held international business development roles with the Arizona Commerce Authority and the U.K.’s Department for International Trade.
