President, Chief Executive, Capstone Green Energy
Vince Canino took over in 2024 at Van Nuys-based Capstone Energy+, a microturbine manufacturer and energy-as-a-service provider then emerging from bankruptcy, and has since helped turn the ship around. Revenues have steadily improved under his leadership, and the most recent quarterly earnings report showed a significant year-over-year reduction in net loss. In April, the company rebranded from Capstone Green Energy to Capstone Energy+, a name change reflecting its evolution from microturbine maker into a broader distributed energy platform serving commercial, industrial and data center customers. Prior to joining Capstone, Canino held leadership roles at ESS Inc. and Smardt Chiller Group.
