Bonrouhi has more than 25 years of investment banking and private equity experience and currently focuses on working with family-owned and woman-owned businesses. His specialties include consumer products, restaurant chains, business services, technology and industrial manufacturing and distribution. He started his investment banking career at Merrill Lynch in New York where he worked on M&A transactions, IPOs, private placements and high-yield debt offerings in the media and telecom industries. He also worked in private equity for UnionBanCal Equities. He founded a financial consulting firm, Blue Line Capital, and worked as a vice president at Hunter Chase, a private investment firm.
