Vantage Oncology and Valley Radiotherapy Associates Medical Group have entered into a partnership to form Holy Cross Radiation Therapy Center, located in Mission Hills. “Our mission is to deliver personalized care to each and every patient,” said Dr. Nancy Ellerbroek, the facility’s medical director, in a prepared statement. “With our state-of-the-art facilities and a team of highly trained radiation therapists, oncology nurse and other support staff, I am confident that our center will provide the most comprehensive treatment and compassionate care in the Mission Hills area.” The center is a free-standing facility that is no longer affiliated with Providence Holy Cross Hospital; however, many of the physicians who staff the center are also on staff at the hospital. “The joint venture between Valley Radiotherapy Associates and Vantage Oncology will provide local patients access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and radiation therapy services,” said Michael T. Fiore, CEO of Vantage Oncology, in a prepared statement. “In combination with the extensive expertise of the physicians and clinical staff, I am confident that our team of experts will become a vital and highly regarded cancer treatment resource for patients in Mission Hills and the surrounding communities.” Dr. Robert Zimmerman and Dr. Lauren VenderSpek are also joining Ellerbroek in practicing at the facility.
