Van Nuys Strip Mall Fetches $5 Million

A 13,337-square-foot Van Nuys strip mall has sold for $4.9 million. The 13647 Victory Blvd. center on a half acre was constructed in 1986 and has 11 units. It is about 90 percent leased and includes an Ace Cash Express and Little Caesars. The sale was announced Monday. Jonathan T. Selznick, vice president of Hanley Investment Group of Irvine, represented the buyer and the seller. Selznick would not disclose the identities of either party, but said they were private investors. “This speaks to both the increased demand for multi-tenant product and to the fact that investors will pay premium prices for well-located, core Southern California locations,” said Selznick in a statement.
