Member companies and individuals of the combined group elected the officers during the annual meeting at the DreamWorks Animation SGK Inc. studios in Glendale. Howard Lukk, vice president of digital production technology at the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is chair elect of the organization. Mike DeValue , director of advanced technology at The Walt Disney Studios, is the alternate. Jim Mainard, head of Digital Strategy, DreamWorks Animation, will serve on the executive committee. Steve Schklair, CEO of 3ality Technica, a 3D camera and post-production services firm in Burbank, was elected to the board of governors. The board and officers reflect an unparalleled breadth of experience across all key areas of 3D, said organization Co-Chair Tom Cosgrove. “Our combined organization and executives will work in collaboration with our global partners to advance the proliferation of 3D content and expand the opportunities for consumer adoption of this dynamic medium around the world,” Cosgrove said in a prepared statement.
