Teledyne Subsidiary Wins Award From NASA

A subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Inc. won a 2011 George M. Low Award for its technical and managerial contributions to NASA. Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. won the Low Award in the Large Business-Service category. It is the second Low Award to the company in five years. Teledyne Brown, based in Huntsville, Ga., is owned by Teledyne Technologies in Thousand Oaks. Teledyne Brown provides engineering and manufacturing services to NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center and other NASA Centers. “Winning this distinguished award is an honor and a testament to the high-quality work and services our employees provide NASA,” said Teledyne Chairman, President, and CEO Robert Mehrabian in a prepared statement. “We will continue leveraging our capabilities to fulfill the critical roles that this agency has entrusted to us.” Companies nominated for a Low Award are evaluated on their performance, customer satisfaction, leadership, quality, and innovation.
