A residential project has been proposed for Van Nuys, located not far from the Van Nuys Metrolink Station. The plan, filed on March 23 with Los Angeles City Planning, is to construct 124 residential units at 7644 N. Van Nuys Blvd. The five-story structure would house 111 market-rate apartments and 13 low income units. The complex also would include a one-level parking garage. Shlomi Asiss of Van Nuys Investment Partners is listed as the applicant. Ken Stockton of the Calabasas-based Stockton Architects is designing the project. A single-story retail business currently stands at this location. Developer Asiss has been active in the area lately. He has a five-story, 108-unit mixed-use project approved in Sun Valley at 7401 Lankershim Blvd.
