The Palmdale Chamber of Commerce’s monthly magazine Vantage has been awarded first place by the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E). W.A.C.E.’s selection process included reviewing headlines and copy, editorial content, general design, photos and photo captions. The magazine was selected first in its class among chambers in western states with less than 1,000 members. The magazine was revamped over the past year and now sports a new layout and more articles and business-driven editorial themes. The W.A.C.E judges commented that Vantage’s theme approach gives readers much useful information and is “One of the better efforts in providing the type of information chamber members can use.” Stacia Nemeth, CEO of the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce said the chamber strives to include member contributions and spotlights, along with information on the chamber and upcoming community events.
