North Hollywood-based nail care company announced Aug. 10 that it will partner with Mariah Carey on a line of limited-edition nail lacquers that will be available in January 2013. “OPI is thrilled to work with Mariah, an industry icon who loves nails and considers lacquer one of her favorite accessories,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI executive vice president and artistic director, in a prepared statement. “With her magnetic personality both on and off the stage, Mariah serves as a great inspiration for beautiful, bold colors.” The next “American Idol” judge becomes the newest in a long line of celebrities to work with OPI. Nicki Minaj, Serena Williams, Selena Gomez and the Kardashian sisters have all lent their names to nail lacquers in recent years. Kelly Goff
