Second Sight Medical Products Inc. on Monday announced that Chief Financial Officer Thomas Miller will resign. In an 8-K report filed with the Securities and Exchanges Commission, the Sylmar medical products company said that Miller on June 20th notified the company of his resignation but agreed to remain until end of the month. The report said Miller’s resignation did not result from a disagreement with the company but said he is leaving “to pursue other opportunities.” Second Sight develops and makes retina devices intended to restore functional vision to some blind patients. Shares of Second Sight (EYES) on Monday closed up 12 cents, or 10 percent to $1.31 on the Nasdaq.
