BioMolded Products LLC opened a manufacturing facility in Westlake Village to make plastic parts for the biopharmaceutical and life sciences industries. BioMolded is a division of Cynvenio Biosystems Inc., developer of medical instrumentation for cancer diagnostics and molecular analysis. BioMolded will make patient blood sample collection kits for Cynvenio. The company offers rapid prototyping and producton of medical-grade plastic components for the biotech, pharmaceutical and industrial markets. “The market for the design and manufacture of novel medical-grade consumables for the life sciences is underserved in our geography, and we intend to address that need,” said Steve Roy, BioMolded general manager, in a prepared statement.
