Avita Medical Ltd. Expands Its European Sales Base

Regenerative medicine company Avita Medical Ltd. has expanded its sales and operations to three new European countries. The Australian-based company, which has American headquarters in Northridge, develops and distributes spray-on regenerative medicine used to treat wounds, scars and skin defects. Avita Medical has expanded through the addition of three new distributors, including JSC Intermedics in Russia, Aviquimica in Portugal and Laser Vision in The Netherlands. The company already had commercial operations in Australia, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. More than 4,000 people have been treated with ReCell. Avita Medical says its product has been clinically demonstrated to improve outcomes, reduce morbidity and reduce length of hospital stay and patient care costs. Jessica Vernabe
