Teledyne Technologies announced today that Susan L. Main, its current vice president and controller, will become its next CFO effective Nov. 19. Main will be replacing current senior vice president and CFO, Dale A. Schnittjer, who is retiring from the Thousand Oaks-based company. “I want to thank Dale for his outstanding service to Teledyne over the last 41 years,” said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and chief executive officer, in a prepared statement. “He was instrumental in Teledyne’s spin-off and subsequent profitable growth. Sue has the experience and understanding of Teledyne to allow for a very orderly transition.” Main, 53, who will also be named senior vice president, rejoined Teledyne in 2004, after holding financial roles at the former Teledyne, Inc. and related publicly-traded spin-off companies for the past 23 years. Wajid Ali will take over Main’s position as corporate vice president and controller. Ali, 39, currently serves as Teledyne DALSA’s chief financial officer. DALSA was acquired by Teledyne in February 2011. Kelly Goff
