Olson is a family mediator specializing in elder law and care planning. Her law practice focuses on business succession, estate planning, long-term care financing and special needs trusts. She is also a certified Dementia Care Practitioner and a Veterans Accredited Attorney. She conducts a series of seminars on elder care and estate planning and publishes articles regarding estate planning and legal issues for people with special needs under the title “Terri Talks.” Olson earned her law degree in 1989 after a career as an investment adviser. Her namesake law firm has offices in Westlake Village and Santa Barbara.
