President, Chief Executive, Child Care Resource Center
Olenick is the president and chief executive of the Child Care Resource Center, roles which he has held since 2003. Olenick oversees CCRC’s programs and services provided to children and families, manages its $750 million budget and staff of roughly 1,300. During his tenure, CCRC saw its budget increase $100 million last year and is expected to increase another $80 million in 2025. Olenick is a past president of Child Care Aware of America, the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network and the Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles. He was also appointed to the California State Advisory Council on Early Learning and Care. He is on the California Child Welfare Commission and Zero to Three’s board.
